Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan: Soon to be proud Parents

News of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan expecting her first baby is abuzz with Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet late last night
After four years of marriage, we were wondering when we would get the news of Abhishek and Aishwaya Rai Bachchan starting a family. And it has finally happened. Late last night, father in law, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “T 410 -NEWS NEWS NEWS !! I AM GOING TO BECOME A GRANDFATHER .. AISHWARYA EXPECTING .. SO HAPPY AND THRILLED !!!”
Ash has reportedly been gaining weight for the past few months but critics shunned it away stating it was for a new look in her upcoming film Heroine, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. However, Big Big confirmed otherwise with his tweet.
This is not the first time, Bollywood has seen an actress  get pregnant at her prime. Actress Kajol was expecting when she was a big hit in the industry. Other actress who have sacrificed their acting career to start a family are Karisma Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Nargis, Neetu Singh, Jaya Bachchan and  Dimple Kapadia. Lucky for us, we witnessed the come back of many of these actresses, some still as lead actresses while others graduated to playing bhabhis or mothers.

Ajaa Nachle (2007) marked the comeback of Madhuri Dixt who had taken time off from acting after her marriage to Dr. Nene from Denver. The two have two wonderful sons Arin and Raayan. Kajol made her comeback with the Blockbuster My Name is Khan (2010). After Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001), the actress was blessed with a beautiful daughter Nysa. Kajol, temporary put a stop to her acting career to look after her daughter until 2010. Neetu Singh, Jaya Bachchan and Dimple Kapadia also made a comeback into films but as mothers. Recently, Karisma Kapoor announced her comeback with Vikram Bhatt’s 3D Dangerous Ishq.
Coming back to the news of the hour, Abhishek and Aishwarya have always spoken about their love and friendship to the media, even in face of controversies and are soon going to be proud parents.
